Join us on Saturday, October 5th for a family-friendly day of fun at Poquonnock Plains Park in Groton for our 14th Annual Groton Fall Festival! Groton Utilities is proud to be the premier sponsor of this event and this year will be better than ever: we’ll have traditional fall activities, family tournament games with prizes, food and beverage trucks, and nearly 100 local vendors and businesses including artists, artisans, crafters and non-profits from around the Groton and Mystic regions sharing their businesses with the Greater Groton & Mystic communities.
Among the many fun activities is a pie baking contest. To enter the competition just register here. Your pie must be homemade, fall-themed, and any flavor goes, as long as it makes us think of the autumn season! Pies will be judged on flavor, appearance, and creativity, so no holding back!
Bring your best Fall-themed pie to the Groton Fall Festival on October 5th to be judged at 12:30 PM. Don’t miss the opportunity to showcase your baking skills to our special guest judges and win prizes throughout the day! Email kearney@mysticchamber.org with questions.
Who doesn’t like a good game of Cornhole? Nobody, that’s who! Come join the fun in the Fall Festival Cornhole Tournament. The games begin at noon with registration opening at 11:15 AM. Head to the Greater Mystic Chamber booth and register to participate for the opportunity to win a fantastic prize from one of our member businesses!
These are just a few of the activities going on at the Fall Festival. Bring the whole family on October 5th and have wonderful day. Additionally, if you are a vendor or a business and would like to have a booth it’s not too late to sign up. Just follow this link and sign up – registration deadline is September 20th.
